What is DeadlineHero?

DeadlineHero helps you keep an eye on one-time, critical deadlines — for example cancellations, contracts, insurance matters, vehicle inspection dates, warranties or other important fixed-date events.

How do reminders work?

DeadlineHero uses local iOS notifications only. Once reminders are scheduled, they will still be delivered even if you are offline or the app is not open.

Do I need internet?

For reminders: no. You need internet for login, account management, password reset, email changes and backend synchronization.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with your email address and password. In addition, OTP/code-based flows are used for certain security-related actions, for example password reset or optional device confirmation.

How does device confirmation work?

Device confirmation is optional and disabled by default. If you enable it, new or not yet confirmed devices may require an additional confirmation by email code.

Can I reset or change my password?

Yes. On the login screen you can use “Forgot password?”. You can also change your password in the account settings.

Can I change my email address?

Yes. You can change your email address in the account settings. Depending on the security flow, an additional confirmation may be required.

What happens if I get logged out?

Your local reminders keep working. If your session expires, only synchronization may be affected — you can sign in again at any time.

Can I change the reminder time?

No. DeadlineHero intentionally uses a fixed time so reminders do not get lost.

Are there recurring deadlines?

No. DeadlineHero is intentionally made for one-time, critical deadlines — it is not a to-do app and not a calendar.

What’s included in Pro?

Pro removes the free limit and unlocks the Pro version. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How do I delete my account?

In the app you can directly choose “Delete account”. Alternatively, you can also contact privacy@fristenheld.app.
